CAPABILITIES

What your shop can do from day one

Everything below is part of the product and is configured from the admin panel. This is not a list of what could be developed - it is what already runs in the shops that are live today.

Capabilities with no note are in every plan. A "from Pro" note means the feature is included from that plan upwards.

Catalogue and products

Everything about a product is entered and changed from the admin panel, including the fields another platform would call development.

Categories, variants, custom fields

You create a product with a gallery, price, stock and cost, and each variant (size, colour) carries its own price, photo and stock. You add custom fields yourself, and no code is written for them.

Shop-wide attributes

Colour, size and material are defined once and reused everywhere - in variants, in filters and in category rules. Rename a value in one place and it changes across the whole shop.

Rule-based categories

A category can be a manual list or a rule - by brand, attribute, price or discount - that fills itself as you add products. Categories nest up to three levels deep.

Product bundlesfrom Pro

You group products into a bundle with its own price or a bulk discount. The bundle gets its own page and is ordered like any other product.

Stock and alerts

You track stock per product and per variant, and get an email when it runs low. Sold-out products can drop to the bottom of the category instead of taking the top rows.

Moving from another platform

You upload products, customers and order history from CSV or XLSX, and the old URLs come across as 301 redirects so you keep your positions in Google.

Content and appearance

The shop is rearranged from the admin panel. Changing the home page, the menu or the colours does not go through us.

Home page builder

You arrange the home page from ready sections - banners, categories, handpicked products, showcases, a gallery, reviews - and see the change on the real storefront before publishing it.

Hero gallery & sections

Home-screen slides carry an image or video, a caption and a button, with separate layouts for phone and for desktop, because around 90% of shoppers view the shop on a phone.

Menu and mega menu

You build the menu by dragging, in levels, with a separate label per language. The category tree can turn itself into a mega menu without you arranging it a second time.

Blog

You write articles in the admin panel, in each of the shop’s languages, with their own SEO title and cover image.

Info pages

Delivery and Returns are edited as plain text, while the terms, the privacy policy and the supplier information are generated from your company details and stay editable.

Customer product reviewsfrom Pro

Customers leave a rating after a genuine purchase, and you approve each review before it appears in the shop.

Theme, colours and font

You pick a palette, a font and a light or dark theme, save your own palettes, and change the look of the shop from one screen.

A shop in several languages

Every text - product, category, page, email - has a field per language, and the visitor switches the storefront themselves. Untranslated elements are simply omitted in that language.

Payment and shipping

Couriers and card payments are part of the product, not an integration somebody writes for you. You connect an account and go.

Cash-on-delivery + bank transfer

Cash on delivery and bank transfer work from day one and on the cheapest plan. We take no commission on the sale; the courier collects its own fee directly.

Couriers: Econt and Speedyfrom Pro

You connect your courier account in Settings and waybills are issued from the order itself, with nothing to install. Statuses and cash-on-delivery legs sync automatically every half hour.

Card payments (Stripe)from Business

You connect your own Stripe account in minutes and the money goes straight to you, with no commission from us. Bulgarian shops can use Borica instead of Stripe.

Offices, lockers and addresses

At checkout the customer picks an office or a locker from a map, and the address is entered by region, street, block and entrance so the parcel arrives first time.

Fast order (one-tap)from Pro

The buyer leaves a name and a phone number and orders in one tap, with no registration and without going through the cart.

Shipping rules

You set free shipping over a threshold, a handling fee and store pickup, and decide which payment methods each courier allows.

Orders and after the sale

The part where the working day actually happens - processing, returns, paperwork. None of it is a third-party add-on.

Orders workspace

Orders move through stages - to process, awaiting pickup, shipped, delivered - and waybills are issued for several orders at once instead of one at a time.

Returns and exchanges

The customer requests a return from their account or from a link in an email, you approve it item by item, and refund by card or by bank transfer.

Customer-initiated cancellation

Until an order reaches the courier the buyer can request a cancellation themselves and you confirm it from the admin. The stock goes back on the shelf.

Invoices and goods notes

You issue an invoice or a goods note with your own numbering, with no gaps in the sequence, including a reserved block of numbers for online sales.

Наредба Н-18 documents

For the alternative Bulgarian fiscal regime the admin issues the Приложение 18а document for each sale and generates the monthly Приложение 38 audit file. The eligibility check sits in Settings.

Cash-on-delivery reconciliation

You upload the courier’s payout statement and it is matched to orders by waybill number, so you can see what has been paid out and what has not.

Marketing and email

Email marketing lives inside the shop rather than as a separate subscription. See the section below for exactly what that covers.

Transactional emails (orders, alerts)

Confirmations, shipping notices, password resets - fourteen events in Bulgarian and English, from your own domain. They count against no limit on any plan.

Newsletter

You collect subscribers, write a campaign in each language and send it from your own domain, with the one-click unsubscribe mailbox providers require.

Abandoned cartfrom Pro

Abandoned carts are captured and a reminder email goes out an hour later, optionally carrying an automatically generated promo code.

Promo codesfrom Pro

You create codes with usage limits and an expiry, including personal codes bound to one customer that work for nobody else.

Rule-based promotionsfrom Business

Discounts are set as rules over a category or a selection of products, including buy-X-get-Y, and apply themselves without the customer entering a code.

Favourites + product alertsfrom Pro

Buyers save products, and you send an alert when something on their list goes on sale - only to those who have given consent.

Customer chat (message the shop)from Business

A visitor asks a question in the shop and gets an answer from an assistant that knows your stock, prices and policies, while harder questions reach you.

Ads, SEO and reports

Ad tracking and SEO are settings in the admin panel, not a project you commission from an agency.

Meta Pixel

You add the Pixel, GA4 or GTM by pasting an identifier into a field. No access to code is needed.

Conversions API (CAPI)from Pro

Events are sent from the server as well as the browser, so Meta sees the purchases ad blockers hide, including cash-on-delivery ones.

Catalogue feedfrom Business

The catalogue is published as a feed to Meta and refreshes itself, so your ads do not show sold-out products.

Campaign reportsfrom Business

You see revenue per campaign rather than only clicks, because the order remembers where the customer came from.

SEO and redirects

Titles, descriptions and structured data are entered per product and category, the sitemap and robots maintain themselves, and 301 redirects are made from the admin when an address changes.

Dashboard and reports

Revenue, margin, orders and enquiries on one dashboard, plus a monthly sales report broken down by VAT and payment method for your accountant.

What is a setting and what would be development

ZweiHost is one product, not a commissioned project. Every shop runs on the same code, so a feature we add appears for everyone rather than only for whoever asked. We launch your shop, but after that we are not standing between you and it: there is no development request, no waiting and no hourly bill when you want a new category, a different home page, a promotion or a second language.

You do it yourself, now
  • Add products, variants, categories and custom fields
  • Rearrange the home page, the menu and the category pages
  • Change the colours, the font and light or dark theme
  • Run promotions, codes and email campaigns
  • Connect a courier, Stripe or Borica with your own account
  • Add a second language and translate every text in the shop
This genuinely would be development
  • A link to a warehouse or accounting system we do not support yet
  • A storefront built outside the platform’s theme and sections
  • Checkout logic different from what the shop already does

If something is missing, tell us. If it makes sense for shops in general we build it into the product and everyone gets it, including you, with no development fee.

Email marketing, not only sending email

Email lives inside the shop and goes out from your own domain, not from a separate platform on its own subscription. Transactional mail is unlimited on every plan; the only cap is on the newsletter, and it is counted in emails sent per month.

Included
  • Newsletter campaigns to your subscribers, with separate content per language
  • One-click unsubscribe, the way Gmail and Yahoo require it
  • An abandoned-cart reminder an hour after the visitor leaves
  • An alert when a product on a customer’s favourites list goes on sale
  • A review request sent a few days after delivery
  • A welcome email on a first marketing consent
  • A promo code attached automatically to any of the emails above
  • A newsletter signup pop-up, in three ready layouts
Not there yet
  • List segmentation. A campaign goes to everyone subscribed, not to a filtered slice of them.
  • Email sequences. The welcome email is a single message, not an automated series over several days.

Questions about capabilities

What can a ZweiHost online shop do?

A catalogue with variants and stock, cart and checkout, cash on delivery, bank transfer and card payments, the Econt, Speedy, Sameday, BOX NOW and Pigeon Express couriers with automatic waybills, orders, returns, invoices, promotions and promo codes, a newsletter and transactional email, customer accounts, reviews, a blog, a multi-language storefront, Meta Pixel and the Conversions API, a catalogue feed and reports - on your own domain, at a fixed monthly price and with no commission on sales.

What happens if I need a feature that is not there?

You tell us. ZweiHost is one product and every shop runs on the same code, so you are not commissioning development for your own shop and not paying by the hour. If the feature makes sense for shops in general we build it into the product and every subscriber gets it, you included.

Does ZweiHost do email marketing, or does it only send email?

Both, from your own domain. Transactional mail (confirmation, shipping, password reset) is unlimited on every plan. Separately there is a newsletter with campaigns per language, an abandoned-cart reminder, a favourite-on-sale alert, a review request after delivery and a welcome email, plus automatic promo codes attached to them. What is not there yet is list segmentation and an automated email sequence.

Is there an app store like Shopify’s?

No, and that is deliberate. The features that carry separate subscriptions elsewhere - couriers, the Meta Conversions API, email marketing, reviews, multi-language - are part of the plan here. The trade-off is real: you cannot add an arbitrary app from someone else’s catalogue.

Is the shop ready for the Bulgarian fiscal rules?

The admin supports the alternative regime: it issues the Приложение 18а document for each sale and generates the monthly Приложение 38 audit file, and Settings carries a check on whether your shop qualifies. It does not replace a fiscal device where the law requires one, and it is not tax advice - that decision stays between you and your accountant.

Can I change the home page and the menu myself?

Yes, and that is the normal way to work. The home page is arranged from ready sections - banners, categories, handpicked products, showcases, a gallery, reviews - on the real storefront, and the menu is built by dragging, in levels, with a separate label per language. None of it goes through us.
