An online shop with Sameday: preparing delivery and Easybox
What details to request from Sameday, how to configure the sender and which collection step remains outside the shop.
Prepare the courier account
Before connecting, check whether your plan includes Sameday. Settings → Couriers shows the integrations available on the plan. Then request an API username, password and sender pickup-point ID from the courier.
ZweiHost provides a prepared message for contacting Sameday. It helps you request the required details together, but the contract, terms and access to courier services remain between your business and the courier.
Configure the correct sender location
Sameday uses the registered sender location on the waybill. Its ID is required regardless of how you hand over the parcel. It is not an arbitrary office selected for the recipient.
Enter the details in the courier settings and check the sender address. If you use different warehouses, do not guess which identifier to use; confirm the mapping with the courier before issuing real waybills.
Check parcel dimensions and delivery choices
Sameday pricing also takes parcel dimensions into account. Prepare realistic weight and dimensions for the packed order, not just the bare product. This matters particularly for bulky but light items.
Go through checkout with a typical order and check the available delivery choices, including Easybox where applicable. Read the displayed price and collection location as a customer would.
Separate the waybill from the collection booking
Issuing a waybill does not automatically book a Sameday courier collection. Book it separately in the eAWB portal. The alternative is to hand over parcels at a suitable office or Easybox under the service conditions.
In daily operations, treat checking the order, creating the label and handing over the parcel as three steps. That prevents a ready label from being mistaken for an arranged collection.

Does creating a label book a collection?
