How ZweiHost works
A guide to every feature - the same ones the shops read in their BackOffice. See how everything is done before you start.
40 guides
Getting started
- Getting startedA quick tour of your BackOffice: «Make it yours» after the start page (your real shop in a test session, with a first test order), the menu, the top bar (language, theme, View site, Help), saving changes, and going live.
- Site settingsYour contact details, languages, opening hours (with breaks and days off for bookings), domain connection with email sending, forwarding and domain security checks, SEO, invoicing, and account security.
Design your storefront
- Site editorChange how your site looks right on it: the theme (colours, saved palettes, fonts and your own uploaded fonts, corners and buttons, product shelves, the loading animation), arrange the home page sections (banners, galleries, product showcases, hand-picked products, text, reviews and more), the hero carousel, dragging its text and buttons on the page, the announcement bar (its messages, speed and edge fade), the header (logo, favicon, layout, size, language switcher), the menu (auto submenus, the mega menu, photos in the menu, the logo split, product search) and its labels, the footer (theme, brand, social links, the newsletter band, columns and badges), the product cards (your own layouts in a card designer, one layout everywhere, the favourites heart, ratings, quantity prices), the cookie banner layout, the newsletter pop-up, the contact details and call button (live), the empty cart and order confirmation layouts, the checkout notice, the order status animations, the FAQ, the About section and the two info pages, in a draft that saves itself - then publish by area, with a history to view or restore any version; a member without the publish key sends the draft for review instead.
- Translations & languagesAdd languages and translate your content and labels - with search, an All/Customised/Missing filter, and one-click revert.
Build your catalogue
- ProductsCreate and edit products, and shape the product page: prices, images, stock, categories, description sections, layout + trust badges, and the producer’s EU GARAN guarantee label.
- Quantity pricingLower the price per piece as customers buy more of a product - set the price breaks, see where a total drops, copy a table to other products, and show the lowest price on cards.
- CategoriesOrganise products into categories and subcategories - hierarchy, links, grids and page width, filters in a sidebar or a drawer, smart auto-categories, the Google taxonomy, and the page sections of each category, arranged in the site editor (Business).
- AttributesOne shop-wide vocabulary (Colour, Size, Material…) powering filters, spec tables and variants - with a shared colour palette and duplicate merging.
- Variants & stockAdd size/colour variants with their own price and stock, set low-stock alerts, and let shoppers ask to be notified on restock.
- Write-offsStock you lower in the product editor, with «Sell by catalogue», from a batch, with a product or whole-site import or here is recorded with a reason - damage, losses, corrections, sales outside the shop, supplier returns - with its value, who and when. Filter, download, write off any product after a count, and undo a record if the units turn up.
- BundlesSell sets of products together at a bundle price - fixed or a percentage off - that beats buying them separately.
- BadgesCreate reusable, coloured badges (New, Sale…) and assign them to products. The labels beside categories in the menu are edited in the site editor.
Get ready to sell
- Shipping & couriersConnect Econt, Speedy, Sameday, BOX NOW and Pigeon Express, pick per-courier drop-off vs pickup, decide who pays the delivery, set review before payment and who pays the return on a refusal for Econt and Speedy, Econt SMS and partial acceptance, and auto-generate labels + tracking - one waybill even for several packages.
- Email notificationsDesign your transactional emails, build each notification from content blocks, attach automated one-time promo codes, and style the shared email theme.
- Legal pagesYour Privacy, Imprint and Terms pages are generated from your details - preview them, compare against our current version, edit when you must, and reset to go back. Shops also get the EU legal-guarantee notice and the online withdrawal function, both on by default.
- Fiscal receipts & the alternative regimeWhether you issue касови бонове from your own device and what that switches off, who issues the fiscal receipt per courier and payment method, the Приложение 18а documents, the Приложение 33 tab with its alert when the filed declaration changes, and the monthly НАП audit file.
Promote & grow
- PromotionsCreate discounts, coupon codes and buy-X-get-Y offers - automatic or code-based, scoped to products or categories.
- Campaigns & discountsRun sales with countdowns, was/now prices, bulk discounts, a site-wide announcement bar, and a checkout-page notice.
- NewsletterCollect subscribers via a signup section and pop-up, then send bulk campaigns with the email builder.
- Meta & Google trackingConnect the Meta Pixel + Conversions API and Google Analytics, Tag Manager and a Google Ads conversion so your ads and reports can measure sales - with consent, verification, testing and the product feed.
- Meta catalogSend your products to the Facebook/Instagram catalog, group ads by category, and ship the Google product taxonomy.
Run day to day
- OrdersReview incoming orders, update their status, issue invoices, email them to the customer, list each month’s invoices on the Invoices tab and annul or replace a wrong one, track fulfilment and stock, split an order too big for Speedy’s касов бон, mark an order handed over in person or return a registered one to processing, confirm what came back from a partly accepted Econt parcel, reconcile cash-on-delivery payouts and the courier’s касови бонове, and test your shop in a test session.
- Purchase ordersOrder stock from suppliers, see what is incoming, and receive goods so stock and cost-with-delivery update automatically - or keep every delivery as its own batch (FIFO), in the editor and the product spreadsheet.
- ReturnsApprove returns, issue return labels where the courier supports them, and refund customers once the goods come back and pass inspection - with a deduction for handled goods and the delivery refund down to your cheapest standard delivery.
- Refund requestsReview customer refund requests for card orders and approve or decline them.
- Withdrawal from the contractEvery shop offers the legal online withdrawal: the footer, account and order-email links, the mandatory emails, the «Contract withdrawals» list, Art. 57 exceptions, what to do for each order state, and switching the function off.
- CustomersBrowse customer data, export it, process GDPR deletion requests, and see product favourites with full pricing and stock detail.
- Business clientsMark a customer as a company you invoice monthly, let them pay against the invoice, issue their summary invoice by hand or automatically, and annul or replace a wrong one.
- InquiriesRead the messages sent through your contact form, track which are unread, and delete the ones you are done with.
- MessagesChat with shoppers from your storefront: turn the chat on, set the reply-time promise and button position, and answer, close, or block conversations live.
Measure results
- ReportsRead the Orders report (filter by courier, delivery and payment; every row carries the waybill, the VAT split and the COD payout state), the monthly Sales report with its by-courier block, Products sold (best sellers with revenue and discounts, per variant in Excel), Stock losses (what lost stock cost you by reason, product and month), COD by courier (what each courier collected, paid out and still owes) and Abandoned carts - filter, then download as CSV, Excel or PDF.
- ExpensesEvery cost of running the shop in one list: courier and cash-on-delivery fees, return parcels you pay for, card fees and your ZweiHost invoices appear by themselves (and, if you count goods by purchase orders, the stock you buy); rent, ads and everything else you add by hand. Hide a row to leave it out of the totals, filter, and download as CSV or Excel.
- ProfitDid the period make money? Sales and the delivery you collected, less refunds, the cost of the goods sold, written-off stock and every expense - down to the profit and the margin, each line opening to the orders or entries behind it. Add income from outside the shop by hand, hide a row to leave it out, and download as CSV or Excel.
- Dashboard analyticsRead the charts on your dashboard - revenue, margins, ROI, orders, bookings, registrations, logins and more, over any date range.
- Campaign reportSee which ad campaigns actually made money - revenue, orders and average order by utm_campaign - and export a hashed customer audience for Meta.
Account & data
- Billing & subscriptionStart or manage your subscription, track your free trial, update your card, download invoices, and connect Stripe or a Borica virtual POS to accept card payments.
- Users & accessAdd colleagues or an agency to your BackOffice with roles and access levels: named page bundles for members, the AI assistant switch, invitation emails, and the plan user limit.
- Import & exportMove a whole site between accounts, bulk-load your catalogue from a spreadsheet, and manage 301 redirects.
